That reform should begin with the reinstatement of a waiting list that would give the agency a realistic idea about the number of children not receiving needed services.
(7.10.07) Hidden taxes in energy bill RALEIGH — Legislators are gearing up to force people to buy energy from renewable sources ($10 per month worth, phased in to as much as $30 per month later). So in what has become business-as-usual, the General Assembly is set to introduce yet another hidden tax.
(7.09.07) A costly mandate JACKSONVILLE — We've never been all that enthused over the government mandating specific insurance coverage; so we are not too excited about a bill requiring businesses to include mental illness in their health insurance coverage plans.
