RALEIGH — Using state and local tax dollars to recruit computer manufacturer Dell Inc. to Forsyth County is legal, the N.C. Court of Appeals ruled in the latest challenge to what opponents say is a giveaway of public funds to private enterprise.

(10.15.07) Speaking about growth
RALEIGH — Growth was a big issue in last week's municipal elections in Cary and Raleigh, where majorities were elected to control growth. If the Cary Town Council limits growth, that won't stop the economic engine of the Research Triangle Park.
